Kvalito actually started with vinyl heat press printing. But Shahid quickly realized that for big orders, screen printing gives better results. The colors are bolder. The prints last longer. And the price per shirt goes down the more you order. So he invested in screen printing equipment and never looked back. It was the right move for our customers.
If you coach a team in Kennesaw, run a business in Smyrna or organize a charity walk in East Cobb, we can get your shirts done fast. Just bring us your design or let us create one for you. We will walk you through shirt options, ink colors and quantities. Most orders are ready in about a week. It is that easy.
How Kvalito Got Into Screen Printing
When Shahid Hussain started Kvalito in 2015, he was doing everything with a heat press. Vinyl cut designs, one shirt at a time. It worked fine for small orders — a name on a jersey here, a logo on a polo there. But as word got around and orders got bigger, the heat press method couldn't keep up. Customers wanted 50, 100, 200 shirts at a time. And they wanted them fast.
So Shahid did what he always does — he taught himself. Google, YouTube, trade forums, hands-on practice. He invested in screen printing equipment and learned the process from the ground up. Coming from nearly 20 years in the IT industry, he had the discipline and problem-solving mindset to figure it out quickly. Today, screen printing is one of our most popular services. And it all started because Shahid refused to tell a customer "we cant do that."
What Is Screen Printing?
Screen printing is a method where ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto fabric. Each color in the design gets its own screen. The screens are lined up precisely, and ink is applied one color at a time. The result is a bold, vibrant print that's embedded into the fabric — not sitting on top of it like a heat transfer.
This process is ideal for bulk orders because once the screens are set up, printing each additional shirt is fast and inexpensive. That's why the per-shirt cost drops significantly as your order size goes up. For orders of 24 or more shirts, screen printing is almost always the most cost-effective option.
What We Screen Print
We print on a wide range of apparel and accessories. Here's what most customers order:
- T-shirts — Crew neck, V-neck, and tank tops in a variety of brands including Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, and Comfort Colors.
- Hoodies and sweatshirts — Pullover and zip-up options for cooler weather. Popular for school spirit wear and team sideline gear.
- Long sleeve shirts — Great for fall events, outdoor teams, and layered looks.
- Polo shirts — A more polished option for corporate teams and customer-facing staff.
- Athletic wear — Moisture-wicking performance tees, jerseys, and shorts for sports teams.
- Tote bags — Canvas and cotton totes with your logo or event design.
- Youth sizes — We print kids' sizes for school events, youth sports, and family reunions.
If you dont see what your looking for on this list, just ask. We have access to dozens of apparel brands and styles through our suppliers. We'll find the right shirt for your project.
Serving Marietta, Cobb County, and Metro Atlanta
Most of our screen printing customers come from right here in the Marietta area. Kennesaw, Smyrna, Roswell, East Cobb, Powder Springs, Acworth, Vinings — we work with businesses, schools, churches, sports leagues, and community groups from all across Cobb County.
We've printed shirts for youth baseball teams that play at Swift-Cantrell Park, spirit wear for elementary schools in East Cobb, company shirts for businesses along the 41 corridor, and fundraiser tees for charity events near Kennesaw Mountain. Whatever the occasion, we've probably done something similar. And because we're local, we understand what organizations in this community actually need — fast turnaround, fair pricing, and someone who picks up the phone when you call.
Screen Printing vs. Other Methods
People sometimes ask us about the difference between screen printing, embroidery, and heat transfers. Here's a quick breakdown:
- Screen printing — Best for bulk orders (24+ pieces). Bold, vibrant colors that last through hundreds of washes. Most affordable per piece at higher quantities.
- Embroidery — Best for a professional, textured look on polos, hats, and jackets. Works great for smaller orders and detailed logos. Check out our embroidery shop for more info.
- Heat transfer / vinyl — Good for very small orders (1–5 pieces) or names and numbers. Less durable than screen printing for long-term wear.
Not sure which method is right for your project? Call us and we'll help you figure it out. Sometimes a combination works best — screen-printed shirts for the team and embroidered hats for the coaches, for example.
Our Screen Printing Process
- Send us your design. Email your artwork or tell us what you need and we'll create a design for you. We accept AI, EPS, SVG, PSD, and high-res PNG files.
- Choose your shirts. We'll help you pick the right brand, style, color, and fabric for your project and budget.
- Approve the proof. We send you a digital mockup showing exactly how the design will look on the shirt. You approve it before anything goes to production.
- We print your order. Screens are created, ink is mixed, and your shirts are printed one by one on the press.
- Quality check and delivery. Every shirt is inspected before its packed and delivered or picked up.
The whole process usually takes about 5–7 business days from proof approval. If you have a tight deadline, let us know upfront and we'll do our best to accommodate rush orders.
Screen Printing — Frequently Asked Questions
What's the minimum order for screen printing?
We typically require a minimum of 24 pieces for screen printing orders. This is because the
setup process (creating screens, mixing ink) has a fixed cost that gets spread across the
order. For smaller quantities, embroidery or heat transfer
may be a better option.
How many colors can you print?
We can print up to 6 colors per design. Each color requires its own screen. Keep in mind
that more colors means a higher setup cost, so simpler designs tend to be more budget-friendly.
Can you print on both sides of the shirt?
Yes. Front, back, and sleeve prints are all available. Each print location is priced
separately, and we'll include everything in your quote.
Do you provide the shirts?
Yes. We source shirts from major brands and pass along our wholesale pricing to you.
If you already have shirts you want printed on, we can work with those too — just make
sure they haven't been washed or treated.
What if I don't have a design?
No problem. Our graphic design team can create artwork for you.
Basic design work is often included with larger orders.
